Bethany Sweet established University Place Massage as a home-based business in 2010, then known as "Bethany Sweet, LMP".  She worked mostly from home over the first few years. During this time, she also built a clientele while working as an independent contractor in Lakewood, WA doing dominantly medical-massage.  In August 2015, Bethany decided it was time to open an office, to work towards her dream of having an office where she can help her clients restore their quality of life.  For the first 6 months, she leased a small space inside another spa while building clientele and then was able to move her office to The Alicia Executive suites in University Place, WA on Bridgeport Way.

After expanding from a single-therapist office to a multi-therapist office in July 2018, she grew the clientele yet again.  As of July 2020, we have outgrown The Alicia.  We now have a fully functioning office, with a waiting area and 3 treatment rooms.  We can now accommodate the demand we have at our office, from patients looking to recover the life that pain has kept them from!

 

A lot of people believe that pain is just a part of who they are, but often even just one hour of treatment massage can make drastic changes in how you feel and what you can accomplish.

 

Our focus is to provide quality healthcare at affordable prices.  We specialize in deep tissue, doing mostly pain management, injury treatment, and prenatal massage.  We also offer relaxation, L&I and Auto Injury claims, cupping, and hot stone.
